Why well water?

The prices of tap water have increased since the last 10 till 15 years. A lot of farmers and other applicants discovered an acceptable alternative: well water. This water can be made suitable for drinking water for cattle and far more applications.

Principle of operation

Beforehand, a water well is drilled at great depth. Water is cleaner at great depth because the soil around the well acts as a filter. However, in most cases it will still be necessary to treat the water with the Mezutec water unit in order to make it suitable for drinking water for e.g. cattle or for other applications. The pump in the well pumps up the groundwater from great depth.

Iron that is dissolved in groundwater will be extracted by the deferrising unit. The groundwater is aerated in the unit, oxygen is thus introduced and the iron that was in solution reacts with the oxygen. Water is pumped up from the well by the well pump and pumped into the filter tank. Water containing iron oxide goes through the filter material, during this process more and more iron oxide and other particles of dirt are fixed by the filter material.
